Does anyone on here own this boxset? Just wondered if it’s worth getting as I may have the opportunity to buy it locally. I have barely any Stones stuff but have always liked them. I also have hardly any mono recordings so I’m intrigued to try this.
Quite possibly better of with clean mono originals of the titles you like most - This box was Digitally mastered from 50 - 60 yr old tapes and pressed at GZ which is a budget plant in CZ - I know the reviews are fairly positive but I do wonder if the reviewers in many cases have listened to the original Decca pressings? (I’m an analog nazi so please don’t mind my 2p’s worth)

Actually this is quite helpful regarding the 2023 repress.
Although I’m not sure yet which set is for sale. Won’t know till later in the week assuming it’s still available.
