Router bits

Probably one for @pmac or @BobC but who makes decent router bits at a reasonable price. They probably won’t get used much, just need a decent basic set.

I don’t use my routers much at all. All of the bits I have are just cheap unbranded stuff.

Not much help, I’m afraid.

For bits that are a cut above the unbranded stuff or cheap chinesium I tend to use Trend or Erauber, largely because they are readily available.

For top shelf, Freud.

I’ve heard good things about the Axminster Tools stuff.

For top shelf I’d also nominate CMT Orange. Great stuff.

Thanks guys :+1:

thems what I use

No Festool?

I have better things to spend my money on

I think it’s normally me singing their praises. Their routers are excellent - I’m just not in all honesty convinced by the value of their bits (same goes for drill bits and screwdriver bits)
