I think I still have a few extra packs

Not too sure how I’d go about sending it to you at the moment though

Is it difficult to get?

Is this the stuff?

Looks like it, but not all ‘Himalayan’ salt is kala namak

This is what I have, and would last you a while

Ah…

I’ve given a lot of it away :stuck_out_tongue:

So you shouldn’t trust me when I espouse the wonders of black salt- it’s generally a set up to offloading some :stuck_out_tongue:

South India style chicken curry tonight, didn’t bother with rice, just loads of naan bread. Bloody delicious.

Made enough for two portions, can’t decide whether to freeze the other one or have it on Friday (got fish for tomorrow)

Technically that is the wrong way round, South Indian food uses rice more than North Indian and less breads. Not that it has ever stopped me before…

not entirely correct. Plenty of Dosa’s in S. India. Depends whether you are SE or SW

Ok, I was thinking of wheat breads like roti/puri rather than dosa/appam.

Jeez Paul I’m on a diet. Looks bloody fantastic😍

Just tried these, half recipe has left me utterly stuffed. Maybe made the mix a little too thick as my dosa techniqe is useless, but still good.

Yeah they’re filling!!

Mustard fish was nice- aubergine precooked in the microwave worked really well and actually made it a lot easier to cook because the aubergine was already cooked down and all fitted in the pan, browned quickly without soaking up all the oil so didn’t need to use tons, and finished cooking in exactly the same amount of time the bori and fish needed!

Mustard paste didn’t go bitter at all- sauce was pretty mild flavoured so worked well with a nice piece of fish
