Had a great day out at HQ today. was sat next to a couple of English Italy fans which was fun because they were just cheering everything that happened.

Then on the train back to our hotel we were sat with Jack Willis’ grandparents, who were so proud they were almost exploding, and his grandad knew my old coach at Widnes RUFC andhe used to help out at my school too. Fucking small world.

Farrell is going to cost England this game, he’s really got the yips lately.

Indeed, England have done well to win the game without him.
If Farrell can’t kick then I don’t see any reason not to play Smith at 10

We are so far off competing for the WC it’s embarrassing.

Bang average and still too much kicking.
We need to do everything a bit better.

Problems in Wales go deep

Our group looks really interesting with Japan and Argentina, I’d expect us to make it beyond the group stage, but as soon as we come up against the likes of NZ or ZA, we’re going to really struggle.

Scotland had an outside chance in this game.
No chance now
(Not arguing with the ref btw)

Good win in the end by France, but the 2nd ranked team in the world made to look very uncomfortable at home.

Enjoying ‘Slammed’ on BBC

(Availible on iPlayer)

First episode starts in the 60s when coaching was illegal up to the Welsh Garnd Slam of 71 and the squad announcement for the Lions tour.

The old footage is amazing

“Great last ditch Tackle by Williams”

Me - He would be sent off for that now, he took his head off!

“Great clear out at the ruck”

Me - Another sending off, going in with no arms htting the defenders head with the shoulder!

Great viewing especilly if you still remember some of these games :grinning:

Just got back from Ashton Gate.

Bristol Bears 62-8 Northampton Saints

Great top of the table clash between Sale and Sarries, Very entertaining indeed and Sale fully deserved their victory.

Brilliant to see it on a mainstream terrestrial channel too,
