Settle 2024 Friday Sep 6th to Sun Sep 8th

What is the Pizza Dough situation? I’m just about to take my meal break and can nip to Tesco and grab a few packs of the Pizza Express stuff if needed, and I have a pack of 4 balls of the Morrisons sourdough balls in the freezer that I can bring?

@SAP7 is bringing 15 balls I believe.

Will that be enough?

Just seen there’s 18 of us, including Dean. so I’ll bring my frozen ones and grab a couple of Pizza Express ones to be on the safe side

What about toppings?

There’s probably one each max of mine (certainly no more).
Dave is getting the toppings. Feel free to add to them.

Will miss you Mickey.

I picked up 2 packs of Pizza Express dough which will make 4 and will bring my frozen stuff, so 8 extra in total. If we need more toppings I’ll pop into Settle tomorrow.

Edit, soz Micky, that was supposed to be a reply to Steve.

Just charging in Skipton, should be there about 4-30.

Gluten free?

Just a warning about the PE dough from the supermarket having experienced this in Lopwell - it is extremely dense and sticky, no matter how much you try to knead and add flour to it. You’ll need semolina on the peel rather than just flour and even then it will stick.

Use it last to avoid potentially fouling up your pizza oven or better still only use it in the kitchen oven which I think is what it was meant for.

Have a wonderful time all.

We’ve used it before and, yeah it was sticky, but we got away with using lots of flour on the peel. It is last resort stuff though, if Steve’s stuff and my Morrisons isn’t enough we’ll use it.

Damn, meant to get semolina but forgot. Have plenty of regular flour.
I have 2 regular and 2 gluten free bases too.
