I’ll check with the owners. It used to be OK but they have taken camping off the website for the last few years so I don’t know.

I’ve now paid for the accommodation, and have added Sunday night so we can either leave later on Sunday or by 10am Monday morning.

I know ! I cleaned the kitchen up on Saturday morning ..beer and spirits bottles plus lots of glasses filled the tables ..it smelt and looked like a whorehouse ..lots of hungover AA characters the same morning ..that limoncello was certainly powerful stuff :joy:

ISTR his dentist made it in her spare time. She had access to things like reagent grade ethanol and prescription drugs although I’m sure* neither of those went into the mix.

*She can probably afford better lawyers than I can.

Reminds me of the “Kwantrow” that one of my Uni lecturers was partial to. Take one tall Gold Blend jar (washed, obvs), put an inch of 95% ethanol in the bottom (not the 99% because that has a smidgin of benzene in it). Tie the peel of an orange with some thread and suspend it a few inches above the liquid. Cap tightly, leave on a windowsill for a couple of weeks then take the liquid, dilute with an equal volume of sugar syrup and consume!

Our field can be used for camping (additional minimal cost), as part of your booking if your numbers exceed 50. We also have basic family camping facilities down by the river ribble that are available to book independently for £12.50 per head, per night (children under 4 are free).
