Some people use a disc of paper, or rice paper cut to size.
Thatâs interesting, this is a Rubato.
Doesnât look like it?
It is though, itâs the lighter (1.4 Kg ?) one.
I use a disc of Klinger Statite gasket paper that a friend gave me with my Tenuto. It was already cut to size.
I use a nitrile gimp mat with the Tenuto on my 301
Yes 1mm gimp dampens the platter the Ternuto alone doesnât fully on a flick test
Perhaps itâs the lighting? The Rubattoâs (being copper) are quite a different colour in natural light.
Yes, it is that colour in daylight.
I say l, I sayâŚ
This is a bit nice. To be exact, the bass is tight as a gnatâs chuff and itâs all so very liquidâŚ
And it fits perfectly on the rack!
Iâd like to try one of these at some point - where did you source yours Mike @MJ2 ?
Second hand, through a wanted ad on the forum Al.
Thanks - better get saving then.
