It has tank like qualities that reassure. If you hurled it at a burglar they would surely be frit. Although letting them try and steal it might be the easier option on the back.
Seems nasty to do that just for playing a trumpet.
Haha that’s what you get for typing without reading glasses.
Very, very noice

Ha, you always said that you regretted selling me the first Coco LCR 'stage. Full circle
Yes, i’m really pleased Jim.
Currently playing with this baby/beginner single ended valve amp:
It needs a dust, but sounds much better than I’d expected, quite surprised really.
According to the interweb it measures shockingly….
Cute thing. If you know someone (at work mebbe?) who is PAT certified, ask 'em to test it’s safe to use, plenty of chifi is fine, but some doesn’t just measure shockingly, and most of the mains transfomers are flat out at 220-230VAC - we average 240VAC.
Lovely, want to try one of the cheaper ones sometime
1.1mk2 is excellent. Just spent the afternoon listening to one in an all AN system. Far more engaging/better balanced than his much more expensive TT2, Arm 3, IQ3 into M2 RIAA. The latter was set up by AN recently, to no avail.
I’ll give you first shout if I decide to let the 1.1S go - it’s had a lot of tweaks and is only a hair behind modern 1.1X now.
This is the mobile system so to speak. Other parts on their way, but essentially an active speaker bar, turntable, phono stage and DAB/FM element, all on 12v DC.
This little unit is a Bluetooth rx/tx that I’ll be using as a tx with the other elements wired to it, tx to the speaker.
Turntable you say, looks too small to judge whether the vta is too high. Impressive miniaturisation though.
What does rx and tx mean?
Recieve/transmit. It can receive via bluetooth and provide wired outputs or have wired inputs and transmit via bluetooth.
