It’s never not a good time for Moar Speakers!
Wow very nice Paul. Would love to hear them sometime.
Welcome anytime Nick . . . which goes for most of you…
Bakeoff once Sam’s decided which pair of speakers actually end up on the top floor for A/V use - then I’ll have room to get the TT working again…
The lightest?
Great pics. Can we have one with Sam stood next to them smiling?
Or sharpening her axe.
Either is good.
Or smiling and sharpening.
Not even aligned, must do better.
Great, you can collect me on your way over
This is my earnest and sincere hope, since I will have to cart them up two flights of narrow winding C19th staircases and the Singing Washing-Machines weigh 75kg a piece…
This is unlikely for two reasons, one obvious, the other, The Camera Face:
We can do that
I fitted this the other night (Audio Technica ATOC9XEB) and it’s a lot better than I was expecting .
Lovely tone, nice dynamics, super stereo, tracks great, sounded ‘right’ straight away and has a threaded body

Oh, and it’s a nice shade of blue for boys.
You sound like a hi fi reviewer……
Beware there be monsters (insert pirate voice) I
That’s very cheap for a lomc
Reviews look good
Nice. I’ve been eyeballing either the Shibata or Micoline stylus version
Just said I did it moving speakers around - can’t hide it, it hurts like fucking hell and I can’t do a damned thing with my left arm (sex-life ruined &c…).
A good point about the AT ML is it seems to wear very well. My OC9 MLIII has lasted for a very long time. Will replace it with an AT33 with similar tip. Mission 774 t/arm precludes threaded bodies.
