Shiny brand new second hand things in my system today V1.2

Ah, it’s made of slate too. I was too busy thinking of Slade I didn’t even think about what you actually meant. Yeah, that’s very cool.

I just commented to Jenny that it can’t be Christmas yet as I haven’t heard Noddy Holder yet :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

 Now you can sleep soundly.

Slate is good. This is local slate. It’s all about terroir, you know. £30 plus five broken diamond jigsaw blades when I hit the quartzite.

If it’s what I think it is, the quartzitic ‘veins’ represent ~400Ma volcanic ash falls interrupting the usual sedimentation process. Lovely piece of stone :ok_hand:

Thank you. It is locally quarried in Gwynedd, probly Penrhyn, once the largest man made hole in the world. I had it for about two years before I was brave enough to cut into it.

Wait, do you live in Gwynedd?

Aye. Above Bethesda.

Ah, we’re down in Bala, should definitely try and arrange a meetup.

I don’t drive, which limits options. Be nice to have more than two hours daylight and a warmer barn. Must upgrade from EL84 to DHT!

I’m a very happy bunny

Thanks Gareth :+1:

Got one of them lined up for when my AT OC9 bites the dust. Mission 774 arm says no tapped cartridges.

I love tapped carts.

Mission certainly didn’t make it easy to fix a cart on the 774 arm

Good arm when set up though. At least the wand detaches easily for the actual cart fitting. All you have to do then is fiddle for about six month until length, azimuth, VTA, etc all coincide and you are golden.

Wouldn’t fit an arm that didn’t have a detachable headshell now. A combination of ease and flexibility.
