Shiny brand new second hand things in my system today

Ok as promised some photos of the LV OBX-RW in Burr Oak.

I have named them Vancouver and Seattle as my cancelled holiday their this month paid for them.

Not the best photos as my room is fairly dark.

Vancouver with top on and top off.

And Seattle with top on.

Very very happy upgrade and I might have a work colleague buyer for the Avatars. If not will let you guys know.

Not sure about the grills I must admit. However I have a cat and for now want to make sure she doesn’t take a shine to the drivers. At least the newer grills don’t fall off as easily as the ones on the Avatars. Those have just pins on the grills where these have pins with a rounded end so a much more secure fit. Order some cables this morning off the chap you suggested to run between the crossover and the speakers. Very cheap especially as they come with banana plugs.

grilles
You BBQ on grills

Is it still the one you had when I paid you a visit many many years ago.
He/she was a real beauty.

Do they still recommend that heavily toed in position?

Spelling never been by strong suit. Put it down to having written English taught to me using this now in the main discredited system. Anyway thats very off subject and perhaps one for a historical cockpunch thread.

I do.
I have them crossing a couple of feet in front of the listening position

Mine cross pretty much in front of my nose as I can’t see either side as did my Avatars. However might have play this weekend with crossing further forward.

He was very helpful, I got him to make the very short lengths for connnecting the outputs on top of the XO boxes with Z type connectors which were much easier to fit top and bottom to the binding posts

Yes I have gone for Z type connectors and 1m length cables.

For reference mine are 3.6m apart and I sit 2.6m back from the centre point

Less than that sadly otherwise one speaker would be on the patio and the other in the bedroom

Mine are 2.2m apart and I am 2.5m away.

I have just about managed to get a 3m triangle with mine. Point them straight at the middle of the sofa.

That is goddamn pornographic. Only heard that combo twice before - once in Kevin Scott’s home system and once when my M7 came to your house
