Anyone sent mono heavy amps abroad (specifically Australia)
They weigh 25kg each so thinking pallet shipping is best but a recommendation from someone who has done it would be great

A friend of mine is currently awaiting DHL to collect a NAP300 + PS to ship to Aus. The boxes are a bit lighter though, it’s about 11kg for the amp and 15kg for the PSU, so what we learn from his experience may not translate to 25kg amps (especially if they’re valve amps).
Do you have the original packaging? If not, at that weight it may be prudent for the buyer to organize collection, packing and shipment (Many Co’s offer this) If you ship and there is an issue it will be you dealing with the couriers insurance + return costs, (N.B: if you fully insure the buyer will be playing import on the insured and declared value) - It may be in their interest to make the shipping / packing arrangements.
Alternatively - Sheets of Ethafoam and crates are your friend here.
