The Turks was the scene of many a drunken evening. Went to St Agnes 16 out of 17 years from 1998 and especially when John Dart had the place, it was fantastic. Closing time would pass and he would let you have several ABFs - absolutely bloody final drinks - staggering back to our cottage in the early hours was quite a challenge! Happy daze.
I think he sold it around 2010 and the new owners didn’t ‘get’ the vibe at all to begin with, although they did improve and I believe it is pretty good again.
Never been to Scilly. Must rectify that.

It is a magical place, unfortunately they’ve been increasingly guilty of milking the tourists. Accommodation and restaurant prices are mental money now.

I had an email from the hotel we stayed at last time on St Martins - pointing out they are getting fully booked for next summer… We will go back in time… Back to Scotland next summer all being well.
