The sound J was expressed in written form as an i. It wasn’t until 1524 when Gian Giorgio Trissino, an Italian Renaissance grammarian known as the father of the letter J, made a clear distinction between the two sounds. Seemingly Shakespeare didn’t get the memo.

I was watching something on iPlayer on the laptop.
Realised that the sliding volume control on iPlayer goes up to 11.
I would love to think that is some developers joke.
