:crossed_fingers: it’s benign or nothing to worry about.

My mum got the all clear for breast cancer in 2020 and the NHS were absolute legends.

Also on that pedestal should be Macmillan, oncologists are very clever but talk a foreign language, Macmillan can explain it in terms mere mortals will understand.

Yup, I work with them every day and this is so true. I’ve produced loads of materials for them and nurse specialists to use with patients and families which translates the typical onc’ scientific babble into things that are simpler to understand - its not easy.

Hope she’s all clear Mick, fingers crossed for you both.

On a rather more trivial note, after 37 years of dodging, I’m going to be getting my first filling on Monday. Which is nice.

I’m convinced that the dentists of the 60s/70s were on a pay per filling scam.
Had loads as it seems many others did*

They certainly are now. Medium filling £150, large £250 at my dentist.as I’m finding out to my considerable cost at the moment.

£54 for 2 fillings including X rays etc.

That’s very good. I had one today which took him 10 minutes, Kerrr-ching £150 Sir and another £400 worth to come in November. :unamused:
