Slaughterhouse

Sadly not our experience of 111

10/10 both times.

Looking at the symptoms. I’ve come down with gastroenteritis.

Feel awful

Sorry to hear that. Keep hydrated, maybe with some electrolyte mix if you’re passing a lot of fluid stuff.

If it’s the more infectious sort (do you know anyone closer than @HughJanus who’s had it ?) then stay away from others and wash your hands a lot.

GWS.

This is the worse I’ve ever felt.

Just collapsed in the toilet whacking the sink with my head.

Get medical help mate, asap.

This ^^^

Called 111, prescription delivered, turd test ordered, excellent care.

When I was in Jaipur earlier this year I felt as bad as I ever have; I was feverish as well. I told my son to go to the Taj Mahal on his own, I was gonna fly home!

There’s ā€œI’ve got the shits a bitā€ and there’s whatever the fuck this kind of thing is. Fortunately for me, a day of rehydration salts (once I could keep anything down) really helped.

So far just keep taking fluids, and speak again in morning.

So far today;
I’ve hit the sink
Fell into the bath after washing hands in the sink.
Fell headfirst onto carpet after washing my hands after 85 th trip to the bog.

It’s been like being at a 1970s party without the drink or drugs.

Symptoms;
Voice sounds like aled jones
Ears feel like they want to pop but can’t
Shits and puke obviously
Constant cramp in varying parts of body when I move them.
Dizziness
Totally out of breath trying to get up after falling

I think it possibly is from some salmon. :sushi:

Fuck you healthy eating

I’ve just stayed in bed where there is no sinks.

I’ve still got a scar on my eyelid after smashing it into a sink after falling unconscious in the bathroom 30 years ago - although that was drink and drugs though.

I didn’t mind getting the occasional battle scar when chemicals were a factor.

But getting them straights not cricket.

Nom de guerre needs a change from postman pat to the snowman

I had it many years ago from a bad oyster. Never felt so sick in my life. Cramps were so bad I couldn’t stand up and had to crawl to the toilet whilst spewing and shitting at the same time. Lasted a few days but not at the same intensity as the first 24hrs. Hopefully this is the worst of it and you start to feel a bit better soon.

Yes, years ago I saw a colleague’s wife go from absolutely fine to ā€œcall an ambulanceā€ in the space of 20 minutes. I’m not keen on oysters.

That’s reassuring to hear.

Well feel better than yesterday so that’s a start.
Reading up on symptoms I think I was pretty much dehydrated.
Fever, not being able to see properly, dizziness and no energy to get up when I fell.
Recommend not to vape or go back to work for 48 hours after the squits have gone

Didn’t realise how contagious it is either

Norovirus. Nightmare on a hospital ward or in a care home.
