Not so small - heās somewhere between 18-20 kilos, depending on the time of year, but most of that is muscle.
From what Iāve been told today the scaphoid, while small, is one of the most difficult bones to heal properly, due to its location and function

Theyāre good mate.
Once every few months there might be a bit of a confrontation but nothing serious. Hard to believe that theyāre 10yo and 12yo this year.

Definitely. Our 2 younger girls (different litters, like Maddie and Hildur) have their moments, but itās over in seconds thankfully and they seem much happier playing than disagreeing. Probably due to the fact that Mum is still top dogā¦

Iām guessing NHS111 will just say ācold compress, paracetamol, rest up, phone back if it gets really inflamedā though.
Canāt put any pressure on it so have settled into lounge and will start ringing a bell for wine service until the pain subsides.

Muscle wasteage! Got the calf of a 90 year old.
Got the go ahead yesterday to put limited weight on it for next 6 weeks with the airboot thing.
Interestingly, part of the op was an allograft, which is basically a bone graft from a donor.
Hopefully they were an athlete

On my way for a 24 hour ambulatory ecg, gentle excercise this pm to try and trigger a small cardiac event, otherwise a normal reading will be produced. Atrial fibrillation suspected but a bp of 85/65 and a pulse of 176 a couple of weeks ago canāt be good, acute shortage of breath and wobbly legs wasnāt good either. A snapshot ecg showed naff all. I donāt want it to show anything serious but do need to get to the bottom of it. Such is the consequence of a life well lived.
