They don’t quite do it for me. I love the way the Vass ones are elegant yet somehow heavier. I think it’s the way the toe seam is more verticle and the sole is really substantial.

I have 9 or 10 pairs of cunty shoes and boots (one of which is close to going back for a resole etc) all of which can be refurbed by the likes of Tricker, C&J and Cheaney.
I have about 20 years to go before I will be eating soft foods, dribbling and wearing the best Velcro fastened indoor shoes from Cosyfeet.
I do not need to buy any more shoes, ever!
