They seem to sell the full range from seemingly decent for the money to junk with high prices.

Oliver Sweeney are doing goodyear welted in size 13 for £180 which seems a good compromise

Seem to made in India.
Perhaps I have been spoilt but for £120-250 I have always found something in the Cheaney/Crokett and Jones outlets. Seems worth a day trip to me.

I find being a size 13 frustrating at times. I was astonished to go into an Asics outlet store the other day and find a selection of different running shoes in my size, including the main variations of highly cushioned, stabilised, and supported. It meant I ended up spending more than I intended on a pair of running shoes, mind, but no real regrets on that front.
No not really. 11 wide fit and high instep. Can be awkward to find a comfortable shoe.
They usually have a few pairs in larger sizes, at the end of the day you could call around first, they are very helpful. My son is a 13 and I found him a pair at one point.
These, these bastard things make me want to cut my own hand off to allow for a vicious prosthetic to be mounted and the rampage to start.

I’m having a general clearout of size 7 shoes.
Crocketts, Cheaneys, Cleverleys, Loakes etc etc.
If anyone is after anything in particular, let me know, I have a pretty vast amount to move on.
Sadly my requirements for footwear are changing with various joint pains etc. Delicate and elegant shoes are no longer the order of business.

I was trying to keep my mouth shut… but I’m also a size seven and wondering what you have. Zero need for anymore footwear but when has that ever superseded the want, boots in particular

Loads of boots, I already put one pair in the tat bazar on here, but I have many others. Probably some of my Crockett tetbury / camberleys will be going. But I also have some Chelsea’s etc. if there’s anything you fancy I can dig out a few photos
