£520 for the cheapest shoes in the sale??? Bargain-tastic!
Sadly, I will forgo the joys of bespoke clown boots, winkle pickers and cunty shoes in favour of the more mundane but relatively sanely priced DM.

I hear they will be promoted to PM soon
In temporary work as SLM at Manchester Met as we speak.
You should have a look at NPS Solovair too. Made in the next village to me, as are a few DM’s.
Factory shops very close to each other.
JW sale…
Peak cunty.
In situations like this, you have to ask yourself, “Would Prince wear these?” if the answer is yes, and you are not the reincarnation of Symbol, then you are not worthy to don such footwear, because you will absolutely look like a twat, but unlike Prince, not be able to get away it.
some new On Cloud trainers as the Salomon S-Lab ones were hurting my ankles on longer walks
so far so good, and very comfy. I replaced the original laces with lock laces for convenience
What material is the upper? And is there much structure and support around the mid foot?
The support is categorised as “neutral”, mid foot reasonably supported, but I wouldn’t say they were very supported. Upper material is light, they aren’t waterproof.
They are these
I chose them for the additional cushioning lowering the impact on my ankles. I got them from Runners Need in Covent Garden, and they did some gait analysis for me on a treadmill.
Look good. There’s always a trade off between cushioning, stability and weight, unless you spend a lot of money.
I notice Hoka who are the kings of cushioning have just come out with the Carbon X which is only 240g but rrp is £180 and you can get them for c £160.
Would like to try a pair of Cloudace/ Cloudstratus and compare them to the Hoka which I’ve had two pairs of.
Yes there was a bloke all over the Hoka ones in the shop. Bought about 3 pairs, and was asking about Hoka socks, think he was a fanboi
Good to see you bringing the thread back on topic.
My wife’s got a very similar pair.
What a fantastic husband. Treating your wife to a new pair of slippers.
The trainers appear to have marched through a field of Chewits. The pink things. The pink things … those bastard pink things .
Fuck. ing. hell.
