Great final frame.

Yes, very pleased for him.

Glad it didn’t go the distance as I would have nodded off in the 19th frame.

It certainly was.
The match of the comp for me was O’Sullivan against Higgins in the semi final.
The best overall standard I have seen for a long time.

But for a twenty year old to outplay Higgins, probably the best match player ever, was a fantastic achievement

And it finished just in time for start of the Saints v Buccs :grinning:

Or, fixer.

YMMV, but I think he should have been banned sine die for that.

Yeah, great final, great competition actually, been some fantastic potting and tactical play.

The best man won on the day, great stuff.

Neil Robertson making an absolute cunt of himself against Kyren Wilson in The Players Championship.

Wilson 5-2 up (best of 11) and Robertson needing FIVE snookers. He played on for ages

It seems to be more and more commonplace these days. Maybe something to do with scheduling and time between tournaments.
Robertson is a bit of cunt, mind :unamused:

Possibly, but he’s no Quinten Hann, whose picture appears in the dictionary under ‘cunt’.

Ronnie O’Sullivan was doing this regularly very recently claiming it was to get his rhythm as he couldn’t practice much. It seemed like a deliberate attempt to wind up his opponent as the rules on concession have changed this season to allow a player to concede at any time.

That I can understand. When you’re needing 5 snookers in what is effectively the last frame it has nothing to do with rhythm. I think he was just being a cunt

I do remember seeing a player get 4 required snookers to win a frame in one of last year’s competitions.

He was doing it all the time, not just in the first couple of frames. Still, it is far more annoying than somebody who is 70 behind and pots the last red and all the colours to get their arm in. This happens in frame 1 sometimes.

Anthony McGill is giving O’Sullivan a really good run for his money. McGill’s 10-6 lead is the reward for some brilliant play mixed with some very solid safety.

Higgins Vs Williams is something else. Really enjoying this.

Come on Ronnie!

Meh!

Is Anthony McGill the most scotch looking person on the TV this year?
