What annoys me about many commerce websites is that you can’t search by purpose, only by name, and many are configured to search using OR logic based on what you type. So you get hundreds of results, 99% of which are irrelevant. This might not be a huge problem with Argos, which sells stuff that is easy to understand, but it’s less good for Screwfix, Toolstation and DIY outlets.
Did you consider picking up the phone and ringing your local Plumbers merchant type place to ask if they had the bit you needed, as opposed to asking on an ostensibly music based forum mostly inhabited by wind up merchants/cunts?
