I want a pair of Sonos One on stands. The Sonos boxes are obviously just a commodity but I’m in a bit of a quandary about stands.
I see the Sonos own-brand stands weighing in at £200.
Flexson at £140
And the unfortunately named “Sanus” for just over £100.
Does anybody have experience of any of these different stands? Are they really that different?

AFAIK, Flexson was the official supplier of Sonos stands in Europe for quite a while before Sonos fancied some of that sweet, sweet accessory margin themselves. As such, they tend to know what they’re doing.
How about something from Audio Chic instead?

My mother was an Ercol obsessive, and it doesn’t bear counting the number of times I’ve sent a similarly styled nest of coffee tables into low orbit.
For my part I rather prefer the look of the Flexson range

and conversely the Sonos-branded ones look more steady to me, however

I quite like those. Go nicely with our Ercol couch in the conservatory they would.
I grew up in a house stuffed to the gunwales with Ercol.
I really, really dislike Ercol.
The matching coffee table to them now resides in my mums garage, after she fell over it one too many times for my sanity.

That might be a bit too big. Just a couple of little ones would be lovely.
We have a couple of bits of Ercol. I like the studio couch.
We had two sets of three. Of course.
My Dad broke one of them when he threw it at the dog.
I would buy the Sonos stands.
