Who are Anu?
You know the guy who makes the plinth
It takes 33 degrees before you can properly find out.
Both sound very good to me but it’s not like I can really tell or compare it like you can using that record in your own system.
Obviously this bloke has top equipment, I mean just look at the speakers he’s using (I know some will disagree with the design of these but these have been designed with reason and purpose, which I like).
Great to see someone having enough passion to try stuff like this.
I seem to gravitate towards small scale manufacturers where possible (eccentrics even?) and this would be just the type of thing that would appeal if I had real money. It’s a good job I can convince myself that what I have is top drawer .
Have you heard faster stuff like EDM through it?
Yes, I posted something on my Instagram recently “OK they can play plinky plonk jazz but can 301’s play EDM” 8 or so rows down @audio_grail
I have a friend?
‘I have a friend?’
What’s that like? I’ve thought about one of those … maybe sometime.
Sorry Dave it’s Bl***y hot in SW16 and my sense of humour has gone walk about.
PS : Some of your photo choices are fantastic.
Cheers Graham. We only have to get through tomorrow. Chin up.
The further posts answer your question better than I’d have
We’re up and running. Sofa bed out as we are sleeping downstairs at the moment.
A few challenges, a 16.5ft ish square room and suspended floor, I might try firing diagonally where the TV is… Same kit as before, nothing new yet!
Looking good Rob
The suspended floor will certainly be a challenge! Getting some a lot of extra bass that I did not in the old house, the floor is vibrating a lot.
Big room. From a London POV obvs.
Paving slab and squash balls
I was thinking about some spikes to start off with, as the KEFs don’t come with any,
Think I used 50mm kingspan then paving slab years ago when I had problems
I have some Auralex Gramma you would be welcome to try.
They worked well when I had a suspended floor
