Very talented, does she do them professionally?
I’ll lob in “that time” I asked someone in Malvern to make a cake with the Welsh dragon on it for my mother’s 90th.
I meant the flag, but got this
Fair play it caused a bit of a riot in the dementia care home.
Never a truer word spoken.
Sensational.
Thanks. No, only for Harben’s birthday. They take about 10 hours, so there’s no profit margin by the time youve bought the ingredients as well.
The pinnacle of my cake making
I felt it could never be topped and have not made a cake since. (14 years
)

I really hope that serving is on a dinner plate.
Haha, no. That’s a bowl.
I divided it into 6 portions and will put 4 in the freezer, tbh it’s so rich that an average portion is as much as you would want in one sitting.

Although I cook dinners regularly for the Mrs and I.
Never, in all my 70 years have I ever attempted any kind of cake baking…
…until today.
Choc-chip and cherry mini muffins.
Fruity Tea Loaf - sultanas/currants soaked in tea overnight - delicious when slathered with salted butter.
Thought I’d have a go at some scones, I’m not much of a baker. A few wonky ones in there but overall turned out pretty good. Mary Berry recipe.
Cream or jam first in Glesga?
I would have thought churned cream first, followed by Dundee Jam. A was going to say marmalade but just learnt sometimes called Jam.
