Have one album that is in pristine visual condition but just sounds like massive amount of static all the way through
It’s been wet cleaned and put in poly lined inners but sounds no better
Any ideas?

Well, it’s obviously not Steely Dan - FM 
Name that LP! Thin 70’s effort? Do the groves look grey in angled light? Repress from unkown source, Patch has been playing it on his snaggle tooth? Reggae? Many questions left begging…Better still ask on the Hoffman forum you should get 30-70 pages out of it.
