Apart from the modā€™s/pmā€™s issues. Why on earth would you want to have a high output MC cartridge? It almost defeats the object of using a MC, surely?

You could pick up a Supex STD-1000 SUT for a few hundred quid and enjoy the delights of a low output MC.

Because I have just spent quite a bit of time getting out of the rabbit hole syndrome and to be honest I donā€™t want to get lost in the world of step ups again.

I still have a very good system which sounds amazing and that will keep me happy. A HOMC fills a spare cartridge space nicely
