What would work best with the Hana SL? A 1-10 ratio?
SL has impedance of 30 ohms.
rule of thumb is 3-10x the carts internal impedance, hana SL is 0.5mV so it depends on your phono stage input sensitivity but a 100 Ohm 1:10 SUT should be ok.

I have the Puresound P20 not sure of the sensitivity but Guy did tell me it has a bit more gain than the P10.
I think the SL does want to see 400-500 Ohms so 1:10 works well.
That said I’ve used one into 1:18 & it hasn’t flattened it. It would give a larger output output though so a SS mm phono stage might not like it. A valve stage ought to be ok.

I have found that with my T10 the 1-18 ratio seems to work well with both my ML and SL, the gain with the ML appears to be a bit higher.
Interesting but at some point soon I may have the opportunity to to try out the music first 632 1-10 .
I have heard it with the Unami red at a friend’s house and it sounds excellent.
The SL does have a more romantic slightly softer sound but I’d like to try it with a 1-10 music first.
If I like it I’ll probably keep both as I run two decks, the Voyd with the ML and the Genesis with the SL.
