Nasotec also produce several ‘Swing headshells’ suitable for other carts. Whilst I remain skeptical the SPU headshell certainly leaves much to be desired so perhaps it’s worth a go?
No damping on the little springs…
If you played a record with a regular warp/bump in it, wouldn’t there be a risk of oscillation effects?

The compliance only seems to operate horizontally though, so I’m not sure a warp/bump would have any more effect than on a standard headshell.
