Back to the 301 plinth, all the internal work finished. Couple of weeks on prepping for the finish to go.

I don’t tend to post my Dad’s work here, but this is pretty special I think: One mobius strip (a general signature of his), but completely split down the middle:

That is stunning.
Is it just a sculpture piece?

Not sure what you mean? It’s a commission for a client that he’s done…

Yes. What I meant to say is, he is an artist, and this is a piece of sculpture, not a piece with a function.

Yeah, it’s purely decorative.

That is beautiful.
May I ask, what’s the ball park figure for this type of commission work please?

More finished bottoms😁

With a new saw on the way, back order allowing, a new worktop is called for.

210cm X 72cm, valcromat top based on two Kreg steel stands with adjustable feet. All arriving tomorrow, in the mean time, chaos!

Looks like a decent router table.
Which one is it?
I’d like to get one this year

That ones a Kreg, nice sturdy base with an accurate fence. I think the only thing I would change is the router lifter, the Kreg one is ok, but there are better ones out there that are a bit smoother in operation. Tbh, I don’t use the router table a lot these days.

Gone up in price since I bought mine…

Lovely stuff!
Well worth the long drive then?

Yes, plus I got to see a secret stash, very nice. Just need to find someone willing to pay😁

That is beguiling Bob!
