I saw the aftermath the same day - I’ve seen a fair few accident sites where a not-very-massive tree has left no survivors after vehicular impact and yet the tree is barely damaged. Here, the car had bisected both telegraph pole and tree, and was halfway inside the bungalow.
The driver was touch-and-go for a good while, and has “life-changing injuries”, but, incredibly, and undeservedly, he’s still alive. His mate very much isn’t, and the elderly couple who live there - one battling cancer - are still traumatised having had to spend most of lockdown in a caravan in their own garden.
If it was my decision I’d prosecute the shit out of him - cunts like this need making an example of, but I guess you’re right and they think he’s suffered enough.
Fucking christians…

Locally a drugged up and pissed up driver hit a tree and was decapitated. One passenger died the other was uninjured.

They cut a beautiful tree down because it was dangerous .

Should have left it there as a deterrent.

WTF

The most surprising thing about that is that the victim wasn’t black.
