Tesla power wall

I am toying with the idea of getting a power wall or something similar. I can’t really have solar panels but thinking charging it up on cheap rate. Any thoughts?

Yes. Although you plug it in and hope that the software does something like what you want it to do for that.

Edit: why no solar?

Might be worth slapping a few on anyway then you’ll get the battery at 0% VAT

Thanks Mark, I’ll take a look.

OK, I didn’t know that.

That givenergy website doesn’t seem to work on finding an installer, are they legit and the best option as don’t want to buy Tesla (for not supporting musk reasons)

We’ve SolarEdge DC-coupled batteries and inverters, been great do far. We charged the batteries overnight all-year-round and then any solar in the summer is exported.

Certainly worth adding panels anyway, they are now so relatively affordable. Ours is East/West ish and we just maxed out the roof space to offset it.

Definitely still exist, our installer does them.
