Another fine weekend. Special thanks to John for organising the meat & cooking, John also for cooking, Micky for the breakfast operations, Mark for the coffee & custard tart, Steve for the pie, Stu for the cunt cake, Dave for the scones, Rob for the keg, Matt for the cinnamon buns and everyone generally for bringing some great music, alcohol & a real sense of fun to the occasion. Already looking forward to next time.

Yes, it’s a brilliant weekend, such fun. It’s long enough to really relax, but short enough to leave you wanting more. :slightly_smiling_face:

Christ, you could have a system in the khazi!

Workshop / system / coffee bar / pizza hut delivery on speed dial = self sufficiency = Goodbye cruel world. Not put off by the flood warnings either. (The system will be suspended on cables from the ceiling) Hammock (and Harpoon for nosey paddle boarder types) on the veranda. Large signs with ‘attack dogs - fuck off’ on the x3 accessible sides.

I would do crimes to have that frontage in a house. Can you imagine :sob:

What a fucking waste, years empty.

Hel very taken with the surroundings, less keen when she saw the amenities and 60ft x 30ft hifi room…

Funds earmarked from the doubtless Euro-millions win tonight

Afair they only opened it for 1 summer/year
They ran a very successful deli a few hundred yards from mine where my daughter worked.

I think they still own it,they do food and host for the yearly pheasant shoot which probably pays ok.

Can’t see selling a few ice cream’s in the summer makes sense as it’s pretty dead in winter. I still think 2 nd hand hifi and records with a live acoustic evening each Friday with a direct cut to lathe vinyl cutter to sell to the punters after the gig.

@Ruprecht thinks just a massive hi fi system, blacked out windows ,and a hammock is the answer

He’s right. Stupid blithering great hornage and no cunts.

The answer is it’s never going to turn a profit which is why it would probably only ever work as a visitor centre funded with a grant. Or someone with mates on the council to make it residential.

Might contact west Devon council and see if they will front the money as a visitor centre.

Will just ignore the visitors and turn the volume down a bit on the stereo, and scatter a few “things to do” leaflets in the car park.

Calling out for a japanman style hifi ‘bar’ that somehow does not make any money… possibly an excellent money laundering front…

Or this one closer to home

The seating layout in the first picture is exactly what I have in mind.

Can we club together and buy it as the forum club house.

This place is the perfect bunker. A place for reflection, loud misic and fuck all people - particularly ‘customers’ ‘visitors’ or anyone outside of selct few friends. As an online business it would serve as a perfect bolt hole and paddle boarder shooting range.

Yebbut what about that one weekend a year when You Know Who turn up next door with their loud music and exotic cooking and bad language and the traveller behaviour in the car park ? That must be ÂŁ100k off the value right there.
