The all-new shiny cockpunch thread (Part 1)

Ha ha yes indeed. Good thing I don’t pay attention to any cunt, even the so called clever ones, as I’m sat snuggling with my lovely hound on the sofa rubbing her belly as she kisses me :dog::two_hearts:

Give them both a rub from me :grinning:

Steady-on. Stiff upper lip and all that. Canids lack the oro-labial musculature to perform mouth actions reminiscent of kissing - the dog’s just tasting you to see if you’re dead yet :plate_with_cutlery:

This man deserves a medal, not a cockpunch

But, it’s very relevant to today’s discussion surrounding hunting etc.

Well worth 5 minutes of YOUR time.

This is why I have so little respect for the police.

Although his attitude/ demeanor reminds me of John Lydon, he is to be entirely applauded.

I don’t like CP’s presentation style either, but that is a distant second to his message.

John Lydon is just a waste of oxygen.

Johnny is a Trumper. What a fucking ignominious end to a career as a professional rebel…

I never saw him as rebel, more someone who brought cunt into the skill set of the front man.

BA can have one.
Not only is the ‘fit to fly’ Covid document upload system not fit for purpose you can’t even check in online.
Advising all passengers to take documentation to the airport.
Fuckwits.

BA having IT problems, you do surprise me

What he’s become is fucking loathsome, no question, but as a youth - thousands of years ago - he was just an angry but creative kid whose brain was scrambled by a near-death dose of meningitis; his most creative era with PIL was pretty much fuelled by his intense hatred for Malcom McLaren, which buys him a lot of credit with me. Like a lot us, he was very much a product of his time.

That is a load of tosh reminiscent of the gutter press attitude of the time.
Lydon and all The Pistols were the Bollocks.
Don’t believe the McLaren and Westwood self promoting rewriting of history they did nothing in creating the band. It was 4 kids out there against the establishment of the western world. McLaren put that band into some of the most hostile environments possible and they never faultered.
Lydon has created some of the most groundbreaking music and records. Having seen him perform several times in his prime he was the most charismatic frontman out there.
So he’s lost his way and is NOW a cunt, much like plenty of once heroic figures.

Still, to end up a cunt out of all preportion to the cunts you’ve had aim to.

I despair, and struggle to reconcile whereas…

Yeah I have a tear in my eye when I hear him supporting Trump. It is something that repeats throughout human history- figureheads for good often seem to lose perspective.
Personally though it doesn’t take away or cancel out or give reason to twist the truth about someone who literally put their life on the line to say Fuck off to the whole establishment, we won’t buy Showaddywaddy records and conform to your hopeless drudgery.
I remember all too well just how shit and pointless life was for me and kids in similar circumstances during the mid 1970’s.

Depends what you assume.

What I was driving at, is that up to Lydon there had been cocks as front men, big preening bombastic egos strutting about, trying to be the alpha.

Lydon didn’t do that. He was awkward, rude, hard to pin down, contrary and quite cuntish.

That’s what I mean when I say he brought cuntishness into the style of his version of a front man.

I liked him at this point. After, less so.

That’s fair enough but it was the above that really boiled my piss .
Can’t think of many frontmen that would tolerate being a pariah in their home city, constantly heckled or attacked by mindless thugs, the police and the press. Being labelled a traitor and under surveillance from the government’s spooks.
Dumped in the USA to play to intentionally hostile audiences in real life Blues Brothers behind the chicken wire gig scenes.
If Lydon wasn’t a rebel then there’s no such thing.

I must agree with @loo

Back in the day he was, quite literally, revolutionary. Today, unfortunately, not so.

I didn’t realise that it was Showaddywaddy that were responsible for the hopeless drudgery of the seventies. I thought it was the Brotherhood of Man.
