Might be an issue of how the value was shown on the customs declaration, maybe they didn’t show it as having been paid and just showed the total cost?

Buying from the US seems less error prone. I’ve bought from a few US eBay sellers recetly and the customs bit has gone smoothly. Last order was 4 valves btw.
Another one for Royal Mail.
First class large letter perfectly adressed post marked 22/11/23 was delivered today.
9 working days for 1st class post!
Talking to the postman they have 4 postman covering 12 positions,
4 more started and left within 2 weeks.
Meanwhile the manager is getting plaudits for running a profitable office.
Easy to do if your wage bill is 1/3 of budget!

And one for Parcel Force, claim not to deliver Saturday for standard 48 hr, so spent the morning around a neighbours, only to find a missed to delivery. Apparently it may end up at a local post office for me to collect, or may go back to the depot for redelivery. But won’t know until later today. No card left of course despite what site says.
Simply no longer fit for purpose.

Our office is running on 50 less staff than this time last year, they’ve hired less temporary staff and vehicles for the Christmas period.
There were already plenty of duties that were only going out once or twice a week or even less frequently, and even more that weren’t able to be completed in the allotted duty time, so you can imagine the state of the office now. And there’s plans to make the duties even bigger than they are now… 
I’m convinced RM senior management are actively trying to fuck the place up.

Yeah. Not sure what the rationale behind the apparent sabotage is tbh, apart from personal gain obvs. My personal conspiracy theory is they’re hoping that Labour will renationalise us, and the share price will rocket in anticipation.
Dunno mate, but I’m sure it’s not fun to be there.
I’ve stopped caring tbh, II do the absolute best I can in the time I have available and refuse to get stressed about what I’m not able to achieve.

And, the bullshit that the senior management are putting out that they’re not telling their minions to prioritise parcels over letter mail is just that, utter fucking bullshit, it’s been an unwritten rule for years, and it’s being pushed even more. Prioritise Special Delivery, Tracked parcels and letters, then parcels, and then think about letters, doesn’t matter if they’re first or second class, NHS letters or whatever, get shut of the stuff that can be measured by OFCOM, it’s a fucking disgrace.
I regularly go and check what’s been left in for the duty that I live on, and the other day found a Doctor’s letter for Claire, related to the scary as fuck episodes she’s been having, and it was a week old, but had probably only been in the office a day, so the whole network must be fucked up.

Has your December Wendelboe arrived Kev? Mine came super fast this month. Only 3 days after posting.
I didn’t forget I ordered isome but forgot what day they were due.
Also ordered a couple of bags from Horsham.
All 4 bags roasted and posted on the same day.
The Norweigan bags arrived the day before the ones from Horsham! (20 miles up the road).
The Horsham ones weren’t really late but the Wendelboe were super quick.
