Jeez Mick :face_with_peeking_eye: Hope you’re OK ?

A couple of cuts on my right leg and a stiff neck and shoulder but ok. More pissed off that my trip to Yorkshire is not happening.

Ouch! Its good to hear you’re more or less ok, hope the driver isn’t being an asshole about reporting, liability and so on.

To be fair to the driver he has admitted it’s his fault, his insurance company have been in touch already. Hopefully bike will be collected in the next couple of days, fingers crossed they repair it, not sure if the rear subframe is bent.

Could have been so much worse. Cold comfort, I know.

Hope you got plod involved? Get on to the ambulance chasers immediately. This is not about getting you compo, it’s about hurting overly aggressive cunts like him in the pocket and thereby protecting yourself and other potential future victims of this kind of driving.

:boxing_glove::eggplant: To me!..x2
First of all a major punch in the nads :cherries:to me for thinking my ankle was recovered enough to even contemplate gardening yesterday, nevermind thinking that something as strenuous as removing large shrubbery with a chainsaw was a good idea! Walking today has been difficult, I’ve regressed back to the point of a couple of weeks ago when I first took the orthopaedic boot off and I’m back on the Tramadol! :person_facepalming:t2:
2nd danglethwack because I hobbled to the local shops, bought a funky 4 flavoured vape, got it home and couldn’t get it to work… Called the shop to arrange a return tomorrow (which was very well received and arrangements were made to tell the staff I would be in for an exchange without a receipt) and then read the instructions! :person_shrugging:t4:… Works fine now I know how & where to suck! :person_facepalming:t2:

Reported to the police this morning, visited doctors this afternoon. Will wait to see what they offer me as the know I will be putting in a personal injury claim as well as new crash helmet and gloves.
Similar happed to a friends daughter and they repaired her car and she got 2.5k for injuries, paid out within 2 weeks.
I guess this will be a full and final settlement and they can limit their liability.

Well done mate. How are you feeling now?

I’m ok, just sore and achy.

Frustrated with the insurance company as the company who they said would repair it only repair cars and vans. Only found this out after ringing them to arrange collection of the bike!
Turns out now that the local garage who MOT’s my bikes can quote got the job and they will pay him directly. His words were a full service new chain and sprockets and anything that is scratched will be bundled in with the quote….he’s a decent bloke.

What an arseache in all ways! Good to hear things are being resolved. Hope you’re soon back on the road :+1:

Wes Streeting for ‘exercising his demons’

sic ?

It was in quotes

Well strictly speaking it was in inverted commas, but I wasn’t sure if you were thumping his nadgers because he couldn’t spell exorcising or because he was pretentious enough to use the phrase for whatever he used it for (I take it he hadn’t literally set about evicting Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub et al or, come to think of it, taken them out for walkies).
