Sorry, crossed wires. It looks to be on a housing estate, so I assumed a garden / allotment.
It’s a huge allotment and ours is in one corner at the back of a row of houses.
Allotments are a thing.
Really ? Thanks for that.
For some reason, the concepts “mother-in-law” and “mad enthusiastic about hotdogs” are really weird bedfellows to me.
The Danish like a hot dog.
And it’s easy to make in a shed.
I am to gardening what @J_B is to cartridge fitment, but this
always manages to beat the odds and flourish ![]()
Lovely
You’ve kept it at bay for at least a few months ![]()
I have a front garden full of snowdrops which is no real surprise, but I also have a number of flowering daffodils, which seem a bit early.
Garden Engineering Update. This was described as a: “flash in the pan” by the estate manager when it was started in 2020:
I do enjoy this time of year, for the first blossom to appear in our garden is the Mirabelle Plum and Sophora ‘Sun King’ trees, along with the Primroses to bring a bit of brightness inbetween the rain showers!
The Sophora is especially loved by the bees, as well as next doors Mahonia variety which is just finishing flowering and pushing its way through the fence (not that I mind, lovely fragrance).
Neighbours gifted us some Crocus Units a few years ago. Protected from Ginger Mk2 by some strategically non wall mounted Wallflowers, they fucking well pop now:
It has taken some time; these Bluebell Units- installed in 2020 are finally looking like well established Units on the estate:
I’ll miss the sight and smell of Bluebells.
