Needs machine guns and missiles.

Can’t disagree with that.

Looks great in that environment. Not sure about areas with telegraph poles, power cables, trees etc. The thing with a nice car is that you might misjudge a gap or execute a manoeuvre badly and you’ll scrape an alloy wheel or scratch a panel. A misjudgement in that and it’s a 40 ft drop to a broken back ( if you’re lucky) But yes, still want!

A famous photograph showing test pilot George Aird ejecting from a pre-production example of the English Electric Lightning fighter in September 1962.

Fortunately the pilot survived after coming down in a greenhouse full of tomatoes. He suffered multiple breaks of his limbs and cuts from the shower of glass that rained down on him after going through the roof of the greenhouse.

Still flyable with one motor out, apparently https://www.jetsonaero.com/. But there are two motors at each corner and I guess a lot of realistic accidents would damage both units at any one corner.

20 mile range.

They say ‘everyone is a pilot’ but I wonder what the rules actually are ? When, if ever, do you need a licence ? Who will insure you (e.g. against crashing onto road traffic) ?

In the past one of the showstoppers with flying vehicles has been noise - your neighbours hate that. This is small and light and electric powered. Maybe it’s quite quiet ?

What ever you do, never, ever, land on the wrong aircraft carrier. ‘Must be air force’

Greta will be crying into her Soy milk,…

Indeed, it was timely to celebrate in this way while COP26 is ongoing. Once the 3rd runway gets built they’ll be able to put 3 up at once.

Might as well, about as believable as Brazil and Indonesia protecting rain forests. We can’t even stop Poland cutting down it’s forests at a rate of knots.

No veneer in ere, in case peeps wonder where cheap East European oak ends up.

Less predictable view of Northrop’s 1940s prototype flying wing bomber, XB-35:

An apt reminder of the power of government corruption, too…
