Bad mid air collision between a B17 and P63 Kingcobra at a Dallas air show yesterday:
Horrific 
Too much “yeeee-haaawwww!” not enough flight-plan.
Seen a few vids and it’s seems clear the P-63 pancaked onto the B-17 unsighted. With at least two other aircraft in the sky nearby at the same time, and all apart from the B-17 trying to pull moderately high-G manoeuvres, if you had to choreograph a disaster with ~80YO aircraft flown by aging people, that seems like the ideal scenario.
Tragic, but also stupid.
