My Dad used to tell a particularly grim story about transporting a corpse on the bonnet of the sidecar of one of those.
He was part of the post D-Day occupation force, and its original owners, uhh, no longer needed it.
He could never stop laughing while telling the story. From memory it was something about the position of the battery and the potential for testicular electrocution.
