The crotch rocket thread

Thanks. We’ve more Esso stations down here so that’ll be more convenient.

Worth it, roads are much mor fun.

I had one in the mid 80s part exchanged it for a cb900f2.
Not many at sensible prices now most seem to be around 10k

I know someone who’s had one for must be 30 + years. Heavily modified , and magazine featured.
Personally I never got the appeal with them.

:warning:NASTY DIESEL SPILL Eridge Road between Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells. Diesel was fucking everywhere so please be careful !

New addition, nicely sorted with a mass of history. 1999 Gen 1, getting few and far between for a decent one. Seems a lot of the engines are either in drag bikes or kit cars now.

That’s a beast! Bet it sounds good with that (carbon?) can on it…

Sounds great, full Titanium and Carbon Yoshi system. Had quite a bit of money spent on it, new Brembo 4 pot calipersto replace the iffy 6 pots that were standard, hours of dyno time etc etc.Nice and clean for a 24 year old bike. Reliving my younger years, i bought one in 2002 but had to sell it. Not planning doing many miles as I think they will become a bit of a rarity.

Wowza! Brave man.

Are the early ones carbs ?
Love that it’s got the single seat but a rack !

No they were fuel injection, rack will be coming off. It does have the pillion seat as well.

I’d need a warehouse for the all. Cars not so many but bikes the list of bikes I’d like is huge!
