Enjoyed the Everton win today

Dunno what our defence was up to for the first goal. Mina didn’t jump in the wall for the second. DCL is looking quite good though. As is Rodriguez…

Two great signings but I wonder how Keita, Ox, Shaqiri, Minamino, Milner etc are feeling, let alone the academy players.

I’m expecting at least one major player to leave before the window closes.

The only one of those feeling threatened would be Oxlade Chamberlain. He just seems the unluckiest lad on earth with injuries.

Shaqiri has been out of Klopp’s plans for a while, I think we’d accept almost any offer for him.

Unfortunately, I can see Origi leaving now. But he should probably be starting for someone.

Another harum scarum ( not the band) game involving Leeds.

Breaking news BBC: Bale and Reguilan sign for Spurs.

Palace doing their bit to kill their fan base with The Hope.

Someone on the radio described Origi as:

Not a goal scorer.
But a scorer of good goals.

About right.

As for monkey boy at Spuds, JM loves an old lag that is desperate for one last hurrah. All his great teams included a veteran who had something to prove.
Or, he’s a wage subsidy and Real will be laughing well into next month…

He’s been a king for us, but at the same time I can understand why we’ve gone for Jota. He deserves to be playing every week somewhere.

He’s got two left feet , though. Never a proper back up for a legendary team.
He has a habit of seizing the moment, mind.

What would I know? Palace have been well worth the win, comedy penalty notwithstanding.

This cottage has a Sky box from 1950.
If I’d have known they had sky I’d have brought the box from home. Mind you, the tv is a postage stamp and I can see a scart…

iPad all week…

Ole gunner last to Xmas?

Some high scoring games. Wonder how the lack of crowds will start to affect things.

Well that was a shock. Saha was another player I dropped from my Fantasy team.:face_vomiting:

6 points behind the leaders after one game. I doubt he’ll last that long :joy::joy:

Too many players & papers blaming their start on needing new players. That was not the reason they lost yesterday. They have enough good players to put on a better show than that. Probably the worst thing to happen was the winning run at the end of last season, when a few bad results would surely have resulted in a new manager being sought. OGS is not a top level manager Imo.

If United time it right they could get Teuchel or Nagelsmann. They’ve got ideas and are used to dealing with the level of players United would expect to have.

Saints all over Spurs

That’s the modern pundit, journo, fan response these days I’m afraid. While the window is still open this nonsense will keep being trotted out.

Really.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

That avatar. Same old, same old…
