Yep, I’m still thinking of an ID3 for Ann, waiting for lockdown to end so we can get a test drive ![]()
It seems like the obvious answer to pretty much any sensible milk float question now is the Kia e-Niro.
e-Niro and Kona are both good range and efficiency. They have the same battery pack I think, so you pick your poison on looks. They are both smaller cars than you’d expect.
iD3 fundamentals look decent - good range, quiet, good charging. But the interior is very marmite, the software is still flaky (big update coming, apparently). There are some mega discounts available on the iD3, so that could be very tempting depending on how you’re financing.
Boring and obvious answer as an owner, but Zoe. The latest version is just an improvement on the already good car. Reasonable price but the best range of the small electrics.
Doesn’t crash or have software issues, inbuilt entertainment and satnav system is good, but has CarPlay and android auto anyway.
That is possibly an issue, more with the Kona from what I have seen. We would quite like a car where the kids aren’t sitting in the rear crumple zone.
Not sure if the interior is any different on the electric version by the wife has the petrol Kona and we took 4 adults and 1 child on a week and a bit’s holiday in one so they aren’t that small.
Spot the monumental lack of understanding in the section on hydrogen…
Seems he has the same taste in veg. as you.
Upcoming Hyundai looks nice
I especially like the interior
Although the price is an issue: they mention a “special launch edition” at £45k - seems a lot for a Hyundai tbh
I love that. When the discounts start flowing it will be mint. They haven’t changed it much from the concept car.
You just know it will go very close to it’s stated range too.
Oops.
Looks very nice.
Does that cover Kia as well then?
I Like
Charge points installed at the office yesterday. Just got to buy the correct cable.
Must sort out one at home eventually.
