Think @dom had one?
I think that the main caveats are 1 the rapid charging was an option, so check on that if buying used, and 2 they did get all their safety stars removed because of some technical reason, so make sure youâre ok with that.
Just bought my wife an R135 on a 72 plate
10000 miles Lot car for the outlay
Yeah I have an R135 ZE50 Rapid charge iGT line. Not sure what the iGT line bit means, but the R135 is the power and newest model and ZE50 I think means the 52kW battery.
Either way definitely get a face lift one (big portrait screen in the middle not the little landscape one).
Mine is currently just over 60,000 miles and coming up to 6 years old now. Battery has no noticeable degradation however winter hits Zoes hard and they go down to c150miles from its normal 200 in summer.
This years mot/service I will be replacing the brake pads which will be the first time. Otherwise I have only ever fitted new tyres and wiper blades. Nothing else has broken.
The infotainment is so so, but irrelevant as the (wired) CarPlay and android auto is great.
Weâve had our Zoe for 35k / 4 and half years.
R135 gt line.
Warranty claim for a new reversing camera and drivers door hinges, otherwise its been ok, with its annual service.
I dont rate the general build quality.
Agree with Dom that winter battery performance is pretty crap.
How many miles do you get out of a pair of front tyres?
A pal of mine took one to Malta 4 years ago .loves it
The winter miles means nothing but he leaves it for three months at a time and no issues. It is a run around island car
Annoyingly pots holes have claimed two of mine so I have lost track of how often I change them otherwise. Rears are originals and being replaced soon as they are getting close to the thread depth minimum.
But fronts definitely wear quicker than rears, although I usually have the car in eco mode and rarely leave it which helps reduce wheel spin you often get in wet/cold.
Meanwhile in fun with chargers getting home from Huntingdon:
No 1: Shell in Huntingdon, banner said 300kW, 400V charge said not really.
Binned off to find something a bit less granny like, at least that was the plan.
No 2: BP hub by Kettering, no contactless and the app wouldnât initiate charging.
No 3: instavolt behind a Dunelm now actually working at 67kW (car limiting to that per the display) to put the Shell in context.
