I am thinking of getting one. It will be heavy and I understand it’s suspension is tuned as a GT rather than a bone rattler but hopefully the depreciation of EVs will keep it up and I will be able to find one.

I’ve been hankering for the A290 until I saw an MG Cyberster the other day.
All dreams really as I’m going to drive the Mini into ground but 10yrs in it hasn’t had a single thing wrong (yet)

Why market it as a hot hatch then? Yes, it has the usual Ev qualities, but the handling is compromised by the weight (according to the tests I’ve read) and it doesn’t possess an EV’s usual saving grace - rapid acceleration. So, not a hot hatch then.

Its 0-60 is the same as mine, which is imo pretty quick. I suspect it doesn’t corner like a barge either.
Every car company designs a car with their choice of compromises. Be nice to see a Caterham EV, with a range of one lap of the Ring for lightness, sure, but I’m sure everyone would criticise that range!
