No, no, no, no, no. You animal.
Teabag in cup, hot water on bag, swish around for 15 secs then remove and add splash of milk. Never ever milk with the teabag in, disgusting.
You sir, need a slap.

Canāt happen.
no swishing around forcing the flavour out. Leave alone for 5 minutes. Let convection do its thing. No milk in at this stage.
Iāve been using one of these today. Works really well.

Agreed.
Except for the milk bit. No need for cow juice, at any stage, in tea ![]()
The edges look a bit sharp, but with the right lube I suppose ā¦
Were you drinking tea while you were using it ?
VB
Sorry forgot to mention the lube. No tea. I find it and the effect of the suppository are not a good match.

Nice necklace
Teaspoon and a bit per cup?
It will be cold after 5 minutes.
Tea takes a minimum of 3 minutes to brew. 5 is better.
If you make it in a pot and put a tea cosy on it, it is still too hot to drink after 5 minutes, but properly brewed, not just changed the colour of the water.
Anyway, teabags are for peasants.
Looks like the time I chundered after drinking too much red wine at the italian

I saw these in Whole Foods earlier when pie shopping. They look like the bases and kung-fu stars are baked separately, the bases filled with mince and then the stars lobbed on top and finished with a dusting. My initial reaction was Wrong! However, I must keep an open mind and looking at the pics now, I am intrigued. I might, in the interests of research give one a go tomorrowā¦
I guess I will be making my own. Otherwise itās a choice between Tesco or Co-op, neither of which I particularly fancy.
Iāll have to try and find an online recipe for the mince
Iām going to have a go at making some mince at the weekend I think. I havenāt started to look for a recipe yet but after tasting a few this week, I donāt think I will be satisfied with shop bought. The pastry recipe that John @Stepmotheratomicbomb posted looks good.
Co-op are OK this year, nothing special, but not actually bad. Will try Tesco tomorrow.
Avoid, at all cost, Morrisons bog standard ones. Pastry is so crumbly youāre lucky if it even makes it to your mouth, and actually, your lucky if it doesnāt because it has a very odd flavour. Mincemeat is oversweet and lacking any redeeming features.
Thatāll be easy. We havenāt got one!
The key is chilled pastry and work quick otherwise it can get soggy and unworkable quickly, used tumblers for cutting out gives it old school pie lookā¦
And one last thing I baked them in a muffin tray and the size with lid came up to three quarter mark, gives them support for the stout pie look
Have fun
Never forget we need as many data points as possible otherwise itās all for nothing ![]()
Disappointed by the lack of clotted cream in this thread
