I think the Policeās heavy handed approach, in order to deter peoiple from causing further problems, when mourning is taking place for a world renowned 96 year old is sensible.
I wouldnāt be at all surpirsed if in due course the charges are dropped. The charges may currently enable bail conditions to ban him from further attending the mourning.

They are trying to organise the worldās biggest queue in London, coloured armbands, no toilet and toilet zones, rules around saving places, security checks, more armbands etc.
This is a country that will form an orderly queue by instinct alone, this wonāt end well.

To be fair, heckling a funeral procession (no matter who it is) is probably a slam dunk of ābreach of the peaceā, for what said protestor was charged with.
