I enjoyed the tv show. What a shite cover though, that would put me off from reading it.

Luckily, using a kindle I only see it when ordering!

Rereading this at the moment. Ancient dgeared copy. Essentially an epistolary novel between spaceships.

I loved his books when I was younger and have most of them on my shelf still. I’m slightly weary of re-reading them though as I fear I won’t find them so good now and it’ll tarnish my fond memories.

I re-read all the Iain M Banks, then all the Iain Banks, books after he passed a few years ago, thoroughly enjoyed them all second time through

Will give them another go at some point. His spaceship names were great. I think I saved a list of them somewhere once as they’re amusing just to read through.
