The shit that does merit its own thread

If you can make 2 coffees in a morning, you’re doing it wrong.

I don’t know, I’m white and I like a lot of the things on that list…

I’m a sort of yellowy pink with some bluish bits and think divisive stereotypes should be consigned to history, no matter who comes up with them.

#137 White People really like virtue signalling.

Oops…

Not worthy of generalisation

So I’m having a whinge about car insurance.
Renewal has gone up by 10%.
So I’ve trawled the comparison sites. Everywhere seems to be about 20 % dearer than my renewal.

Anyone else having the same experience ?

These guys are on fire

I was out of the house by 08:45. The circumstances of my previous working life meant that coffee was neither a luxury nor an art form. Somehow I’ve never shaken that off, nor even tried to (maybe I wouldn’t be able to ?).

Think he used to be

Strange what you learn about people, I didn’t even know he’d changed his name

He used to have one according to a write up in HFC many years ago.

Amazing how he was mr interesting in the 80s,to djing for blur at Wembley stadium in July

I did a radio show on GLR about vinyl with him back in the 90s and he definitely did have an LP12 then. He was really entertaining company and had some fantastic anecdotes about his love of music and his life generally. Given how recognisable he was then, he was incredibly patient & gracious with the endless stream of people coming to our table to get his autograph (pre selfie days)at the café over the road and then was quite comfortable jumping on the tube to ride back out to Essex and risk his hands playing village cricket in the afternoon!
