I’ll get on the case over the weekend. I’m a bit too cunted and enjoying some Beth Hirsch music at the moment…
Get in there. Well done for the insight.
If you feel it’ll help you, do it. Frankly, getting cunted and enjoying some decent music seems like the best option in any case
And in other news, our school budgeting software is using a magnificent stock photo on its splash screen.
‘Yay, finance is great’
Russia?, Nup, good old Blighty
I also see our 4x100m relay team were stripped of their silver as one of them was doped.
Now there’s an idea
That cheered me up.
Ouch
Not just the City of London then
Having worked in the city on trading systems Credit Suisse and UBS were notorious for bending the rules. The FCA would do compliance audits and we would often find that the customer had “accidently” removed relationship manager phones and dealerboards from the call recording. I would also find that they were using the system to breakout calls from the UK via the system in Switzerland so the caller ID appeared to be Swiss, this is highly illegal in banking/trading. We used to archive their voice recordings to DDS or DLT tapes and it wasn’t uncommon for tapes to “get lost” or accidently get put through the magnetic wiper.
Bit of a sweeping statement but having visited Zurich a few times the Swiss bank staff were horrible to deal with, extremely arrogant and rude.
The fuck?! They had an “arrangement”. I’m trying to imagine the discussions that led to that arrangement, and the perceived benefits for either side. What a world.
Shall we go down the park and get legless?
Stumped?
